Re: XnView 2.45 crashes with some folder downloaded from Google
On Win7-PC (where XnView crashes): VLC 2.2.4, K-Lite Codec Pack x64 from 2013-03, K-Lite Codec Pack from 2013-07, result of "NirSoft\x64\installedcodec.exe" see below. On Win10-notebook (where there is no problem): K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 14.3.2, QT Lite 4.1.0. AC3 ACM codec Driver - Audio No 2016-1...

Re: XnView 2.45 crashes with some folder downloaded from Google
I found the files which cause the crash: All *-MOV files, made with iPhone6: Media-Info see below. MPC-HC, VLC, Picasa, FormatFactory etc. have no problem with same file. On other PC (Win10) XnView does not have a problem with same file - so it seems to be an incompatibility between XnView and some ...

XnView 2.45 crashes with some folder downloaded from Google
With some folders, which are created by downloading and unpacking some album from Google photos, XnView 2.45 crashes after selecting the folder in XnView-browser (under Win7-64-ult-SP2): [Window Title] XnView Classic for Windows [Main Instruction] XnView Classic for Windows funktioniert nicht mehr [...

UNC does not work in browser
I can start XnView browser for UNC path like \\Nbk-hs1\Backup\Pictures, but in the folder tree nothing of the UNC path is visible (and the tree jumps to top and nothing is selected). Some hosts are not shown under "Network", but even for shown hosts the tree does not jump to opened UNC folder - alth...

Re: PS-Plugin "PolaDSR.8bf" does not work
Very strange result... The picture is not really big: 4GiB jpg, 1680x2592, and in DigiFoto v3.5.1 I can open the same file on same PC and use PolaDSR successful (and same is true for the stand alone application, which uses at least the same dll). Unfortunately in newer DigiFoto on this Win7-64-PC no...

Re: PS-Plugin "PolaDSR.8bf" does not work
Thanks for the info (especially the other plugins - I will try them) :D Regarding PolaDSR: 1. I used <http://legroom.net/software/uniextract> (which does not generate subfolders like WinPack) to extract "data1.cab", and I installed the tool in some virtual XP and copied the files, and now I also tri...

PS-Plugin "PolaDSR.8bf" does not work
One old (but useful) PS-plugin ( http://polaroid-dust-scratch-removal-software.softonic.de/ ) does not work in XnView, but works fine e.g. in DigiFoto v3.5.1. I put "ScratchRemoval.dll" to some dir in my PATH, and "PolaDSR.8bf" to "C:\Tools\XnView\8bf". I can then start this filter, and see its dial...

32 bit BMP not shown as expected
32 bit BMP files (like 10_M.bmp in the screen shot), e.g. generated from my scanner, are displayed by XnView with "greyness". Windows explorer, Windows picture viewer, Picasa and IrfanView (etc.?) display the pictures with correct colour, but XnView (and Gimp) with greyness. I don't know if it's a X...
