You'll need to place the file in a ZIP or RAR archive in order to upload it as an attachment, 2MiB the current maximum attachment size.

Re: .411 files

I have the same question. I have a floppy disk with .411 files on it (5KB each), also a MAVICA.HTM file (8KB). Given the size of free space on the floppy disk, there seem to be hidden files. How do I open the pictures? I have just installed XnViewMP. .411 is listed as a supported format for XnView ...

Re: Batch crop/change ratio

I want to batch convert jpgs from 4:3 (iPhone) to 16:10 (Samsung tablet) with no loss of quality/resampling - essentially a centre crop. I have tried the canvas resize action (centre) which will do what I want, but the image size after convertion is substantially reduced; the images have clearly be...

Re: Unable to convert PDF to JPG

You are using XnView Classic (v2.40 for example) and you have installed Ghostscript 32-bit, have you?

Could you please check whether you can open the attached Test.pdf file?

If Test.pdf opens normally, are you able to upload the PDF file that you can't open [2MiB maximum size]?

Re: convert sfw files to jpeg

I know how to load file to be converted in the XnConvert software but I cant figure how to advise the software to convert it to a jpeg. On the Output tab you can set the filename and format of the new file created, together with the file format settings such as compression to be used... If you are ...

Later:

If you are using XnView Classic [rather than XnView MP] the option to try is Tools > Options > Read/Write > General tab -- Ignore read errors.

Re: Unable to convert PDF to JPG

I haven't installed Ghost script explicitly as I assume it is done by the MSI. I will install Ghost script and try. No, you do need to install Ghostscript 32-bit... If Ghost script is missing, won't it [throw] an error about missing the same? No, but it would be useful it suitable text could be dis...

Re: Guetzli JPEG from Google

Any news on this? When will this be implemented? As "tools>Export with Guetzli" or "save as>JPEG Guetzli"? For me Save as... > JPEG Guetzli seems better... My interest would be to use it to (somewhat) reduce the overall size of large multi-page scans saved with JPEG compression ...

Re: Is there any way to convert tiff image to valid base64 string ?

I Have a tiff file located in my local system and I want to convert it to base64 string. An that base64 string should render the image back properly and it should work in all browsers. There is no option to use a base64 string listed in the NConvert 7.00 help file, so presumably it is not currently...
