Re: Draw module: Graphic Styles

These features would be very convenient, indeed!
Is there any update or plan on this?

Then I provide to draw it on the base of the already existing "Enhance colors" icon.

Re: File listing including assigned categories

Yes - he is referring to the fact that XnView has the possibility to embed the Keywords in files themselves (ok, in a XMP sidecar if the file format does not support this feature). I am aware of that... Indeed, the first workflow I put together used the .XMP sidecars to create the index I needed (w...

Re: File listing including assigned categories

If I understand well, what you want is this? Yes, this is what I originally asked for, and it would be the best. On the other hand, something simpler - and also good - would be the following: File-category-listing.png When forcing XnView to store the categories as IPTC data in the image, you can us...

Re: File listing including assigned categories

Great! Would it be possible, maybe, to have this function implemented also for an active selection of files? (e.g.: in a folder, from Search, from filtering...)

Re: File listing including assigned categories

Ok, but why? ...because the next step would be importing such index in Excel and having it printed / sorted / analysed / stored / shared... "the old fashion" :) :) :) Actually, going through the program features, I realized that there is something that does almost what I am looking for: the Categor...

Re: File listing including assigned categories

I have used XnViewMP to assign Categories (i.e. "tags") to many files of every kind (e.g. .zip, .pdf, .mp3, etc...) My goal is to create an index of all the categorized files with, aside, all the categories assigned to that file. That is, saying that I have the three categories "Animals", "Dogs", "C...

File listing including assigned categories

Hello, is there in "Create" -> "File listing" an option to export all the categories assigned to a certain file next to the filename itself? For instance, having the file "Puppy.zip" (so not necessarily an image, with the IPTC/XMP options grayed out) and the associated categories "Animals" and "Dogs...

Re: RAW+JPEG+XMP linked

This would actually be great! And, in general, there could be a toggle switch (on-off) to perform the same action on all the files with the same name *excluding the extension*.
This would include RAW+JPG+XMP but also VIDEO+XMP, etc...

+1! As a first step, this would already be great, even without parenthesis.

Re: feature request: xmp sidecars for RAW files

Hello! First of all, thanks for this awesome program! The enhancement of XMP engine is (hopefully) the next thing in the works. :) I also join the bunch asking for a more powerful XMP engine, as it would allow to manage metadata of pretty much everything. How is it going? In particular, I was wonder...
