Aha, that explains it quite good. Time to get a newer computer I guess, but I´ll do fine with 0.84 for now. Keep up the good work.

v0.85 does not run on Windows Vista

I just tried to run 3 versions of 0.85 on my Vista laptop: The installer, the 32-bit zip & the 64-bit zip. Non of them works. The following error message pops up with all of them: "This applikation failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows" in "". Reinstalling...

Re: no thumbnails for video :(

Same problem here (Windows Vista). I converted some .mov videoclips I took with my Canon Ixus camera to .mp4 using Handbrake (default settings). Installed K-Lite Codec Pack. Mp4:s can be played but no thumbnails are generated by XnView unless I rename the files to .m4v but then they can´t be played.

The "Find Similar files" window too big!

The "Find Similar files" window doesn´t fit my 1024x 768 screen.
I can´t see the titlebar or the buttons at the bottom.

Ok! It´s not a major problem, but in my opinion, XnView IS a file manager (it manages images=files. or am I wrong here :-) I don´t se any reason to have one "popup window" for every selected file. Why not ONE single "Error: Selected Images are write protected" message. I think ACDSee handles things ...

Annoying batch behaviour!

One annoying thing! An example: If I select 100 images to perform a batch operation & all images are write protected, then 100 error messages pops up, one after the other. And if I want to remove the write protection on them, I have to do so on all images one by one = 100 times. If I do the same thi...
