No. Just do that with your mouse - can be left or right click, depending upon the way you've configured Selection.
Practise until you're comfortable with it.

Re: XnConvert as command line tool?
Your question didn't get the attention it deserved, Pierre. I'd say, most certainly Yes - that XnConvert should be a companion to NConvert and be capable of performing all the functions of the GUI. It's very useful to be able to pass parameters to programs, of course, so if both your converters were...

Vn 1.5.2 and 1.5.2 In Update Alert
I notice that in the update alert (also 'Help', 'Check for update...') the notice refers to vn. 1.5.2 twice rather than 1.5.3 (2023-08-11) as the latest. A small thing. 17th Aug 2023. PS I, for one, would find it helpful if the downloads carried their version numbers in their filenames, like XnViewM...

Re: Sharper view in viewer (HQ view) -- Big request!
How is 'Sharpen' intended to work? I can see it in the View View settings, but what happens? Is an image just sharpened in the current on-screen impression, or does 'Sharpen' correct the current file and save it that way when written to disk? Sharpen to save, or sharpen to view? Both? Is it adjustab...

Re: Save session - doesn't do anything
Pierre!! "ok, and what do you have in settings>Save session on program exit?" In 'Tools, Settings, General: Save session on program exit?' I had 'Always'. 'Hiding in plain sight' is the expression. Did YOU forget that one, Pierre? I certainly didn't notice it, there being so many choices thr...

Re: Save session - doesn't do anything
Not quite, Pierre. I open XnView MP (to the browser (when all previous tabs have been closed explicitly)), open a picture in a tab, open another picture in another tab, go to Settings and click on >Reset all prompts/OK, then top-right X or File, Quit or Ctrl Q and receive one prompt to Quit includin...

Re: Save session - doesn't do anything
where settings are saved? Where are settings saved? As far as I can tell - using 'Everything' as an aid - in: C:\Users\PhredE\AppData\Roaming\XnViewMP\xnview.ini ...last updated at this time on 20/09/2021. Seems correct. Permissions for me the user are quite open. NOTE: It's the one and only questi...

Re: Save session - doesn't do anything
Oh yes, a few tabs open, including one for the browser. For the time being, during this analysis, I'm not ticking the 'Remember my answer...' box when I choose 'OK' to quit. XnVMP started from the executable - into the browser. Tonight the program isn't saving open tabs, the opposite to what it was ...

Re: Save session - doesn't do anything
you have not 'Save this session' when exiting? Correct, Pierre - no 'Save this session?' prompt upon exiting. Only the 'Do you want to exit?" prompt (along with 'save my response'). This is on two machines, so far, version 0.98.4 - 64bit. [And just confirmed with 0.99.0] [It would be handy if you c...

Re: Save session - doesn't do anything
Contrariwise, I have no need to retain my last sessions. Indeed, I'd like the choice to NOT save the last collection I was last looking at. The Reset all confirmations doesn't ask me the 'Save this session' question, only the 'Do you want to exit' one using the window top-right X. It's 2021 ...

Re: Close/Exit button in Viewer
what other users think about that? I believe a good GUI interface should allow any influencing action (excluding user input like typing) from BOTH the keyboard and the mouse. Everything should be possible with both. The ubiquitous 'Ok' control can be accessed by (tab,tab..) Enter/spacebar or by a m...

A thousand pardons, tomaasz - haven't been around.
If it's still current - I don't recognise the dialogue box.
Where's it from - Windows , XnView or XnViewMP?

Re: set keywords in full screen view
Greetings Holger.
Nothing much other than viewing seems possible in full-screen mode.
If you make an alteration of any kind, it's lost when you close f/s.
I don't understand why.

Re: XnView & XnView MP - convert to jpg - filename with "_1"
Confirmed.
If a file of the same name already exists, a conversion from .psd adds a _1, as an example, as expected.
