Using the Send by Email... menu item, why do we have to type in the recipient's address if it has not been ... to fill this field... And i don't know how to collect email adresse from email client. Also, if we edit xnview.ini manually, how many email Recipients are we allowed ...

go to win.ini file and add [Mail] MAPI=1 If you are not a newbie, then please enlighten all us newbies as to how you set Thunderbird as the default. ... 2000 and there is the same problem: some weeks ago "send by email" worked. This W2k pc uses ie6 and TB 2.00.22 and xnview 1.96.2 ... XP pc I changed to the older xnview 1.95.4, switched the default mail client to Outlook Exp. and back to TB. I will check the behaviour with W2k. ...

Thanks, using XP. It was a TB problem. It appears that TB 2.0.0.22 has a problem. I needed to reinstall TB 2.0.0.22 over the 22 on my computer and reboot. So now it works.

You didn't say if you were using XP or Vista. In Vista, XnView did exactly what it should: it tried to send the email message using the email program specified as the system default in Windows. I also use Thunderbird, but it was NOT set as the default mail program. So when I tried ...

Salut I changed the mail client to Outlook and back to Thunderbird, but it doesn´t work. TB was and is my default mail client, that has never been a problem. I wonder wether the problem is Internet Explorer 8, I installed some weeks ago? ...

Thunderbird email client

I am using Thunderbird as my default email client but when I want to share a photo from XnView it does not recognize Thunderbird.
Is there a way to use Thunderbird with XnView?

... the first 3 fields (Recipient:, subject: and text:) and using the email client to fill them instead? Just think about recipient auto-completion some clients like Thunderbird ...
