Steps:
1. Double-click on an image to open it in the Viewer
2. Select an area
3. Go to Image | Filter
4. Check "Apply to Image"
5. Select various filters and change settings. You will see that all filters are applied only on the selected area (mask)
6. Select Add Noise and put a big Intensity (@ 1,9 - 2)
Expected: Add Noise should have effect only on the selected area (mask)
Actual: Add Noise has effect on the entire image

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.87. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Tested with 0.87 beta 3, fixed.
Reproduced first with 0.86, used the procedure from m.Th.
Did the same in 0.87 beta 3, now the noise is only applied to the selection.
