0.84: # of object(s) selected doesn't clear properly

XnView: MP 0.84 x64
OS: Windows 7 - 64 bit

Effect: When clearing / unselecting / deselecting a selection of files, the count of files selected doesn't change / clear / reset.

To reproduce:
1. Select one or more files in browser
2. Click in empty space to clear the selection
3. The # of selected files in the status bar will still show the number you had selected (it doesn't reset / clear)
4. Select one or more files to update the number
Actual behaviour (bug): The status bar count of # of selected files doesn't update when clearing the selection

Expected behaviour: When clearing the selection, the # selected in the status bar should read zero (0)

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.85 beta 1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
