0.84: Viewer: Add Noise filter does not respect the mask

Post by m.Th. »

Steps:

1. Double-click on an image to open it in the Viewer
2. Select an area
3. Go to Image | Filter
4. Check "Apply to Image"
5. Select various filters and change settings. You will see that all filters are applied only on the selected area (mask)
6. Select Add Noise and put a big Intensity (@ 1,9 - 2)

Expected: Add Noise should have effect only on the selected area (mask)

Actual: Add Noise has effect on the entire image

O.k., thank you, I can also reproduce the problem. Issue 1238 is fixed in next version.

Tested with 0.87 beta 3, fixed.

Reproduced first with 0.86, used the procedure from m.Th.
Did the same in 0.87 beta 3, now the noise is only applied to the selection.
