Yes for all XnView programs (mp, xnshell etc). It would look nicer somehow and XnView deserves it

Indeed, usage of (c) apparently has no legal meaning in the US.
Some copyright attorneys say that using verbiage like "Copyright (c) 2010" can actually invalidate a copyright claim . . . or at least make it far more difficult and expensive to enforce.
If Pierre cannot use © for some reason, it would be better to just use "Copyright 2010" which is an enforceable copyright claim.
