XMP not written to JPG files?

Fist of all thaxx for making (and keeping) XnView such a great piece of Software.
Regarding the new 1.96 release, I noticed that when writing IPTC metadata to JPG-Files, the dialog shows "update or ceate XMP" and a ckecked box next to it, but this option is grayed and in fact no XMP metadata get written to my pictures, only IPTC. In the previous version this worked.
XMP data are displayed correctly though, if they have been added with the previous version.
Is there any explanation for this?

Do you have Xmp.dll in addon folder?

you are right! Thank you for the quick help.
Somehow, the XMP.dll did not make it into the .ZIP-Version this time.
