XnView Software

Hi,
Is there any way to set up XnView so that ratings get written to an externally-readable form as I apply them? The ideal would be a sidecar XMP file, but writing the info back to the JPG EXIF or IPTC data would also work. Can it do this?

Only XnView MP can write XMP sidecars

If I have set ratings in XnView (standard version) can these be read by XnView MP, or would I need to do my ratings there as well?

You need to import the XnView classic database
