Problems with the slide show

Hi, I am new here.

I just stated the following problem:
I selected the slide show and loaded a folder with some links to jpg files. XNView shows them as abcd.jpg.lnk

But XNView crashes when I want to start the slide show.

Do you use 'Add folder'?

Yes! I add a folder with some (working) links to jpg files. Then I click on start and XNView crashes.

In the case I add some files (=links to jpg files) the problem is similar: XN view accepts the selection. Then I click on start and I get an error report: XNView is not able to recognize the selected file format.

I can't reproduce, if you add for example 2 links (of jpeg), you have a crash?
