Separate 'Orientate image based on EXIF' settings?

Post by Olivier_G »

I wonder whether Browser, Preview and Viewer should have their own separate 'Orientate image based on EXIF' setting.

For example: I would like to browse thumbnails and view images with the correct EXIF orientation for convenience... but I would like to check in preview how the images are for real before submitting them for web/email.
Some people may have different needs... what about you?

By the way, I prefer 'orientate' to 'rotate' because the file itself has not been rotated.

Obviously nobody needs that feature (and the EXIF icon is already great to show real orientation) => topic can be closed (and the single EXIF orientation option in General is great... :D ).
