I do not know how I can tell these versions apart. The version that I have is one that I've downloaded from xnview.com some time ago and I have the MB since 26th of oct. Therefore I'm not so familiar with the tools and features of MacOS. Using the color palette of the app. LiveQuartz and drawing just one from the palette as shown in LiveQuarz.png. The result is in: real.png
Open this in xnview and you get xnview.png.
