Missing OpenEXR support in nconvert 6.88?

Postby jho » Tue Jun 21, 2016 1:33 pm

Hi, it seems that OpenEXR is not available in v. 6.88 from nconvert. In the help it was removed and when I try to convert an exr I get the message that the file format is unknown.

Yes, I have it in the Plugins folder. An older version of nconvert is in the same folder like the new nconvert. The old is working.

IlmImf.dll is from Feb. 13 2012 964.608 bytes. I downloaded it also from your page.

Thats it. I used the 32 bit version and it works now. Is it a bug that it is not working in 64bit?

I thought so. I downloaded the plug in from the Addon page here. can it be that the plugin package is only 32bit?

Ok, i downloaded Xnconvert 64 bit. Plugin is included. I tried to use the exr plugin with nconvert like it is in the 32bit version. Now for the 64 bit. Not working. I still get the error message ""Dont know how to read this picture.

The 32bit is ok for me at the moment. But it is strange that it is not working.

Unfortunately still not working. At home I will upload the nconvert which I downloaded with an example exr file and the plugin I used. maybe you can see the mistake.
