Suggestion: Hide thumbnail labels

Would "[x]Hide labels" function in context menu be a good replacement for "Thumbnails" view (and its "use filename" option)? Is this even posible?

I like it. Now I see it's v.1.97 that has [x]show filename, not MP. It is difficult to look at one without thinking about the other.

IMO this is a setting that should be on the top surface of the UI instead of "buried in the options"...

...such as: a toggle button on the toolbar, or in the View menu (when thumbs are displayed) as "Toggle filename".

Perhaps the UI top level toggle could be 3-state: "No labels", "Filename only", "Custom labels".
