Installed on Ubuntu 9.10 64bits - it works Many thanks.
Did not have time to play with it much yet

One note about installation: the supplied script (xnview.sh) does not work
if one creates symbolic link to it. I changed

dirname=`dirname $0`

to

pathname=`readlink -f $0`
dirname=`dirname $pathname`

Congratulations for the implementation of the EXIFTOOL Pan, especially for the Composites data !
I can now have access via XnView to my own composites data from my custom .ExifTool_config file.

I have seen this error after extracting from one particular archiver. Several others each produced good, working files. Trying another one might work for you also.
