Copy file location

Post by Redsandro »

Hi and thanks for a new release!

How can I (simply) copy a file path?

In most Linux programs (e.g. file managers) when you copy a file, you can paste it into a text input and it changes to the path + filename.
This is very convenient when you copy something and paste it into (an uploadbox for) facebook, flickr, email or some IM file transfer.

With XnViewMP, when I copy a picture, I can do no such thing. Why not? I thought the Linux system made it like this, but apparently the software (XnViewMP) can decide this isn't possible. Please add this feature.

I (so probably others too) use this so often, I think there is (or definitely should be) a keyboard shortcut key for this.
Is there a trick or something to do this? What am I missing? :)
