thumbnails + detail, columns zoom slider, drag left broken

Post by CreativeWorld »

Tested with xnview mp 0.64 in linux mint 16 cinnamon 32bit.

1. Open the browser tab,
2. Set the view mode: View > View as > Thumbnails + Details.
3. Click on the button below the "Quick search" inputbox (near the top right),
set it to: "Number of thumbnails per column" (the icon shows a 3x3 grid of squares)
4. The zoom slider that's located to the left of the button above,
drag it to the right, the thumbnails zoom in (expected)
5. Drag the slider to the left the thumbnails also zoom in (unexpected),
they should have zoomed out.

When the button in step 3 is set to:
"Width of thumbnail"
then the zoom slider works as expected.

Confirmed.

The user cannot make smaller the detail rows in column mode.

The problem here is "column zoom slider" can't work correctly. Perhaps i need to disable the feature when icon/details view is used?

If it cannot, disable it. Anyway I don't see a lot of value in having 'column zoom' working with rows and providing... ...what? A constant number of rows? It is rather a corner case. If you can do it VERY EASY, do it. If not, disable.
