High cpu load
For some reason XnVieMP has high CPU load even when it is doing nothing in a folder with 5 pictures.

Re: High cpu load
I was trying to knock it down a bit more. From what I see right after launching XnvieMP I have natural spikes of cpu load as the application starts.
Then it is about 45% which is fine.
However even after the application has been started and I switch into a folder with just 2 images, I keep having between 15 and 30% cpu load. I have no explanation for that. I can´t see any background activity either. So I wonder if there are any background tasks that the application is performing? It is the 64bit version.
Edit: I have just launched it again and monitored the cpu and it is doing it for 5 minutes after starting up now. This is weird.

I have 0% on my computer, strange. Do you start on a folder with 2 images?jadO wrote:I was trying to knock it down a bit more. From what I see right after launching XnvieMP I have natural spikes of cpu load as the application starts.

Re: High cpu load
After some more investiation to me it looks like whe I startup xnviemp with a huge folder of files then it keeps doing some background things on startup an I can see the memory consumption rise without touching xnviemp.
When I start with a folder with few files, cpu stays low, memory consumption stays low and both remain low when I switch into folder with many files after that.

do you have same thing with 0.72?jadO wrote:After some more investiation to me it looks like whe I startup xnviemp with a huge folder of files then it keeps doing some background things on startup an I can see the memory consumption rise without touching xnviemp.

Re: High cpu load
No, This does not happen with 0.72.
I can start 0.72 in the huge folder. It starts up and has cpu load of 50% and doing some work but then it drops to 0% !!!!
With 0.75 it seems that these start up task never stop and it keeps utilizing the cpu in the background.
