Hello,
I would like to resize lots of pictures of mixed orientations and dimensions, to a constant size (using either adjust on long side or specifiing both width and height), keeping ratio, orientation and print size, hence recomputing the DPI value.
To specifies that the print size must be kept, I added a "Change DPI" action after the "Resize", leaving both X and Y DPI at 0, just checking "keep print size".
All works well, except that the DPI stay constant, and therefore the print size varies.
I tried to use either TIF or JPG images as input, the output format being JPG in both case, but that didn't change anything.
Am I doing something wrong ?
Best regards,
Jean-Louis

Re: Resize, DPI adjust and keep print size
so you need a 'keep print size'? DPI must be recomputed, right?
Pierre.
Re: Resize, DPI adjust and keep print size
Hello Pierre,
Yes, I would need the DPI to be recomputed, and I suspect that it must be done in the resize action, trying to do it in a separate step can't work since the recomputation of the DPI needs the information from the resize.
Best regards,
Jean-Louis
