The XnRetro icon does not show on my laptop screen after I downloaded the program. What must I do?

I've never used XnRetro, but downloading it to have a look I think your problem may be that the download is a ZIP file rather than a program installer, so could you please try these steps assuning you are using Windows:

o Double-click on the XnRetro-win ZIP file you downloaded;

o When the folder opens copy the XnRetro folder inside to your desktop (or any other location you prefer);

o Double-click on the XnRetro folder to open it;

o Right-click on the XnRetro application inside and create a shortcut to it (New > Shortcut);

o Copy the shortcut to your desktop (or elsewhere);

o Launch the program using the shortcut.

That's actually quite easy to do despite the number of steps! :D
