Hi. XnviewMP does seem to be a nice tool but at this point I cant discover how to make into a single image viewer.
let me explain.
When opening in Windows explorer an associated file ie jpg, it loads in xnview. when I press enter shows file explorer in xnview. thats nice. Now have 2 tabs showing an image and the browser. However when I then use the browser to open another different image there is another tab with the other opened file. Each time I press enter it goes back to the browser without closing the image tab. Eventually I have a large number of images open in tabs with the browser. Is there a way to restrict to a single tab and browser?
Thats closer to the working method in my previous image viewer.
I discover on an image open tab pressing esc returns to the browser and does close the image tab but I am so used to pressing enter to return to the browser I keep ending up with all these image tabs open. Just old habits that need beating into shape perhaps?
Is there a menu item to restrict this action? There was in XNView.
Thanks.

long time before reply so apologies.
Yes this does go pretty well to make it familiar as well as the customise keyboard shortcuts.
