Switching preview from image info to picture?!

I cleverly clicked on the tiny icon at the top right of the preview pane and it switched to the image information tabs. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to switch it back to showing a preview image! I've looked everywhere at the settings and interface. Please help, thanks!

Did you check under:
"View: Info pane:
You might Check or uncheck "show as menu" and check or uncheck "preview".

these options are above the main toolbar. File.. Edit.. View

Oh that worked, thank you!!! I had to also check "preview as tab".
And... how can I get rid of the stars at the bottom of the preview pane?
