Hi,
I just upgraded from an older xnviewmp (0.76) to 0.81. One of the item in the changelog is:
080: sidecar support
Is there any documentation on what/how to use it?
I opened a directory with all the images having a sidecar: 123.cr2 and 123.cr2.xmp and I do not see the sidecar data in xnviewmp when I view the image ie: keywords,...

Yes, I think so. At least, that's how I've set up my installation.
When I change the filenames according to Pierre's advice, …
dogs-vancouver-20150930-9350.cr2 dogs-vancouver-20150930-9350 .cr2 .xmp
… things work as expected.

Is it possible for the user to choose whether they need the xmp saved as either 'filename.ext.xmp' or 'filename.xmp'. As it stands, the xmp's are not compatible with Darktable and I can find no settings for either choice in both Darktable and XnViewMP.
