How to remove folder images

I saw in the UI-less settings that I can change the color of folders. This is good because I'm using the dark theme and I want the folders to just appear as gray boxes. I was able to go into UI-less settings and make all 5 bg colors the same, giving me a gray box. However, there is still a graphic at the top that shows a folder tab with a white background. I have attached an example.

I looked in /opt/XnView/UI but I didn't see anything there that looked like that folder image. Does anyone know how I can remove that, so I can get the look I want? Thanks.

Changing the background color of the thumbnail panel (Tools » Settings... » Browser » Thumbnail » Appearance » Thumbnail cell » Appearance » Background) doesn't take immediate effect behind/under the folders :bugconfirmed:

As a workaround, you can force MP to redraw the folder thumbnails by changing the thumbnail size (View » Thumbnail size...).
… fix the issue, 3x5?
