???

In Full Screen mode (F11) there are no tabs. Perhaps between photos? You have a film strip when you hover the mouse in the upper part of the screen and two arrow buttons at the bottom. You can use also the arrow keys from your keyboard.

If you mean the Viewer Mode (when someone double-clicks on an image) you can click on the tabs above or you can use Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+Shift+Tab from keyboard

Hi, thanks for reply m.Th.

I just was wondering if it's possible to navigate only throughout the pictures opened in the tabs. IE, If from the browser I open 20 pictures from 3 different directories in tabs [20 tabs], can I navigate ONLY though these pictures in full screen?
The strip is nice but it display the content of the whole directory where the picture that I'm currently seeing is placed, that's not is what I'm looking for.

Navigating over opened tabs is not possible.
What you can do:
1. Select desired files in browser
2. Select "Open" in context menu (Right mouse click to open context menu)
3. In Viewer press "Pause" key to start/stop a Quick slide show. This will navigate over selected images, only. In fullscreen you have the "Play" button in the small navigation panel in addition.

In Tools » Settings | View » Misc. you can set delay and direction of the Quick slide show.

Thanks for reply hemut,

That's an option but the problem is that in this way I cannot navigate through multiple directories, meaning in the browser I can only select for a slide show pictures of only one location. What I was asking for is some sort of virtual navigation, that xnviewmp creates a temporal list of the opened tabs and can navigate them in full screen (shouldn't be difficult to implement), could be very useful if you have media distributed in several disks or even in an intranet.

I understand. Perhaps you could use "Tagging": You can tag files which are located in various folders or even drives and then view them.

Tagging files:
In XnView browser: Click on the small rectangle or press Ctrl+T to tag the selected files(s).

Viewing the tagged files altogether
1. In XnView browser: Switch to Categories Filter (Tab "Categories Filter" on the left side of the data pane).
2. In the tree of the "Categories Filter select "Special Items » Tag"
3. You will see all your tagged files in the file list. You can open the first one and then navigate over all of them.

Options for tagging
In Tools » Settings | Browser | Tag you can control when your tagging is cleared.

Just an idea...

Good to read that tagging does what you wanted to achieve. :)
Just be careful when using both tagging and selection at the same time: When deleting you will be asked whether you want to delete the selected or the tagged files. Make the right choice, then.
