Saving User Settings

Post by trevzilla »

Is there a way to save all my settings or a configuration file I can copy so that all my hotkeys, mouse button configurations, views, etc. are easily loaded with a fresh install of XnViewMP?

Yes, Tools | Settings | Integration | Paths - check in „XnView Settings” the „Use .ini file in folder” (it should be enabled by default).

Click on „Open Config Files Location”.

From that folder copy everything EXCEPT xnview.db and thumbs.db (if your databases are there).

Repeat the above procedure to find the settings folder on your new installation and paste them there.

Beware, there can be some local paths from your old install.
