I'm trying to use a dual monitor setup. My second monitor has a higher resolution then my main (laptop) screen. When XnView is moved or open in the second monitor is appears as though it is running at a much lower resolution(640x480 maybe?). The menu bar items don't even fit and the images look much more granular. If I turn off my laptop monitor in the video settings and just use the secondary monitor it works fine. All other software adjusts to the second monitor resolution(Faststone included).
Thanks in advance for any help,
Mike

Re: Dual Monitor - XnView acts as if second monitor lower resolution
Hi Mike,
Welcome among us! I work from many years with XnView MP on a dual monitor setup. My monitors changed over time but almost always the 2nd monitor had the bigger resolution.
I use the 2nd one for full screen preview (you can configure this from Tools | Settings) and it works very well.
Also when I try (now) to move the main window on the 2nd monitor it seems to work fine.
My specs are in my sig.
What version of XnView do you have? What Windows?
