Hi, I'm usin XnView MP Linux Version 0.86 64bits (Apr 25 2017) on a Mint 17 Notebook.
I'm wondering if it is possible at batch resize->action->resize
to fill a empty space with a certain color?
i.e. I have a bunch of images and want to resize them to 1200 X 800 px . the outcome of one is 800 X 900.
Is it possible to fill the missing pixels with a color by default? I can't find it.
thank you very much !

Re: action resize -> fill with background color if size doesn't match
You might take a look at Actions > Image > Canvas resize where you can specify a colour ('Background color' for added canvas) and see if you can obtain the result you need with that, either used alone, or possibly in conjunction with Image > Resize ...
Re: action resize -> fill with background color if size doesn't match
I just did that and it works exactly as you described for me.
If you are asking "where do i select the background color?" it's Edit => background color...
