Just a wild guess as I'm running out of ideas. I don't really think it's the culprit.

yes wild guess is a keyword here :( I'd really like to know what is happening.

Well... believe it or not... yesterday night i unset the GPU acceleration. Yesteday during the day i never had a single problem. Will see in the future.

So... basically it was a GPU conflict, which i mistakenly thought it was a network one?!

Will have to check in future days, because i feel really an idiot if it were, especially since previously i tended to resolve it by basically do network-related stuff, like running the "network problems" widget and stuff, which usually tended to work as a "vodoo solution" and only saturday i noticed the very reliable chrome connection.

Sunday i should have had to check onto the problem but i was visiting some old friends and while i did bring my PC i did not do it, because we were doing other stuff.

Sorry.

Still... XnView MP did work flawlessly when i used it.

ah... well... this morning my PC's manufacturer decided to post the updated network drivers to solve the windows update issue. So at least there's that.

UPDATE!

Yesterday i reinstalled windows. Because i had a free day and i wanted to see if there was any difference.

The problem persists.

XnView still hangs up and staring chrome solves the problem.

Have not used Ccleaner yet. So that was not the culprit.

Let me know.
