0.84: Selection: 'W' key doesn't always swap

Post by helmut »

XnView: MP 0.84
OS: Windows 7 - 64bit

Swapping height/width of the selection by pressing "W" key does no longer work after pressing Tab key.

Effect: Irritating user interface (minor)

To reproduce:
1. Open an image in Viewer of XnView
2. Select an area of the image
3. Select Edit Selection - Swap width & height
4. Press 'Tab' key two times
5. Press 'W' to swap width & height of selection
Actual behaviour (bug): Nothing happens :bug:

Expected behaviour: Height/width of selection is swapped.

Note:
If the problem shouldn't occur, press Tab, one more time and try swapping selection by pressing 'W', again.

Ah, o.k., I didn't see.

Does it make sense that toolbar buttons for Zooming in/out are in tab order?

I don't think so: Tabbing to the +/- buttons and pressing spacebar for activating the button would be pretty cumbersome and I much doubt that people would known and use this. There are "+" and "-" keys for zooming in/out.

Correct. Focus on "+" and "-" doesn't make sense at all - no one will use these buttons via keyboard because it's far too cumbersome to use them.

O.k., thank you, I can also reproduce the problem. Issue 1125 is fixed in next version.
