Exif /Iptc batch export to 1 file

Post by Jeronimus »

Hello XnView users.

I'm a newbie, searched a lot but can not find what i'm looking for :( but i think it is possible. :D

I would like to export the exif/iptc data of several pictures to 1 file (so i can import this in a spreadsheet).

Can someone please explain me how to do this or show me a place where i can find this information?

Thx

  1. Select your photos in the thumbnail panel of XnView's browser.
  2. Go to Edit » Metadata... » Export IPTC data... / Export EXIF data...
  3. Choose an output format (Text/CSV/XML).

Thank you for the response!

I Think i have a different version. I'm a mac user and have XnViewMP Version 0.39 (Sep 2 2011) Libformat version 5.95.

I can find a function to edit the metadata but not to export. Is this due to the mac version?

Thx
