hi guys i have a question
why is it when i zoom in the viewer (double click) the quality is better than when i zoom in fullscreen (middle click)?
they are smooth in viewer but in fullscreen the images appear pixelated and blocky. is there any way to make zooming in fullscreen the same quality as in viewer?
i suppose i can open them in viewer first and then go fullscreen from there, the zoom quality would be higher but my images are located in archives (comics). if i use the viewer it would open the temp copy and i can't view the next images in the archives. i really don't want to have to extract them, one of the reason i use xnview is that i can view the images in archives directly

Re: Zoom quality in viewer and fullscreen?
I’ve update XnView to version 1.99.5 but the problem still remain.
Also XnViewMP (version 0.51 for Windows) have the same problem.

Re: Zoom quality in viewer and fullscreen?
As long as there is one setting for Zoom quality, only, this setting should apply for both image view mode and fullscreen mode. Currently the setting applies for image view mode, only, which I'd call a bug.
Note:
From my point of view, fullscreen mode is just a special type of image view mode. I see no need for having different zoom behaviours and two settings (instead of one) for image view mode and one setting for fullscreen mode.
