0.84: Edit mode: Crop, Save & Next destroys internal list
Steps:
1. Double click on a JPG to open it in a new tab
2. In the new tab press Shift+X and select an area to crop
3. Press „Crop, Save & Next” and a message appears saying „Do you want to overwrite?” - press Yes.
Expected: The imagine should change on screen to the next image.
Actual: Nothing happens.
Hint: After this, the „Next File” and the „Previous File” buttons (the blue arrows) from the toolbar do not work anymore.

Re: Edit mode: Crop, Save & Next destroys the internal list
After trying quite a bit I could reproduce the problem:
For me, the problem occurs when using "Crop, Save & Next" on the last image in the folder.
Is this your problem, m.Th.? Do you have other files than JPEG files in your folder?

For me it was one in the middle. Definitely not the last one.

Re: 0.84: Edit mode: Crop, Save & Next destroys internal lis
Retested:
In order to NOT work, after entering to folder you should click directly on the file you want to crop. ...and after this double-click on it to open in a new tab.
If you will click on file 1, on file 5, on file X... and after this click on the file you want to crop it will work.
It has problems only if you click directly on the file (it needs to be the first file selected in the new folder).

Re: 0.84: Edit mode: Crop, Save & Next destroys internal lis
To reproduce this I've checked "Select first item on entering folder" in Tools » Settings | Browser » File list.
Then I tried but still couldn't reproduce your problem. Could someone else please try?

Grrr...
I could reproduce it reliably on some different folders but now when I work on a test folder I cannot do it anymore.

m.Th., what can we do about this one?
Re: 0.84: Edit mode: Crop, Save & Next destroys internal lis
Postpone it. If it were a high-impact problem it should have shown much more often.helmut wrote:m.Th., what can we do about this one?
