Embedded transparency in TIFF

Post by Walli »

Hi,

I have a set of tif files that is lzw compressed and want to batch resave them with xnview, so that the files are uncompressed.
That works, except one big problem:
Tif files that contain transparency (have been created with Photoshop) don´t come out right. The color layer is dropped to a black background and an alpha channel is created.
But I would like, that the embedded transparency is kept and no alpha channel is created - I didn´t find anything in the options. Is it possible to keep the embedded transparency instead of converting it to an alpha channel?

thanks,
Walli
