Sony EXIF and Thumbnails Rotated

Post by ckit »

I was moving through Firefox's cache and noticed that some JPEG's with EXIF info the thumbnails for them were rotated 90 degrees when they shouldn't be.

The images in question are of a Adult nature so I can't send them to you, however I can dump the EXIF info here...

Please note, in XnView options - I have "Rotate images based on EXIF orientation" set to disabled!

Update:
I've cleaned out XnView's cache and still the problem remains.

Are you using Browser>Thumbnail>Use embedded thumbnail ?
(another program has maybe rotated that embedded thumbnail)

Yes, I was, after disabling it and deleting the cache again - it's fixed.
Thank you!
