Viewer - overlay
few issues with rating/label metadata

To reproduce:
0. prerequisites
- clean portable version
- have any image with rating/label, eg test image 1. open test image in Viewer

issue A
rating/label will not be visible the 1st time image is opened

issue B
2. reopen Viewer tab with image
rating/label will appear in the top-right corner - OK
3. change Info's default position from Top-Left to any other, eg Top-Center (Settings>View>Info)
4. reopen Viewer tab with image
rating/label will appear in the Top-Left corner


Suggestion

• maybe add custom position combobox for rating/label

Browser - face tag

To reproduce:
0. prerequisites
- clean portable version
- install Face tagging plugin
- have test image (photo-4iptc-heads.jpg from IPTC Image Region Examples) in folder
1. select test image in Browser

issue A - filter
2. press 'Update Catalog from Files'
3. (optional) restart app
4. check 'People' filter in Catalog filter pane
People filter will have no new people (regions)

issue B - write
2. open Face tag...
- press Search face
- add names to 4 faces
- press Write button (agree to overwrite XMP face regions)
- close Face tag tool
3. open Face tag tool again
no changes have been written into image

Filelist in Browser mode has 2 different scrolls:
- over filelist area (affected by 'View scroll the content by thumbnail' in Thumbnail+ views)
- over scrollbars (follow system settings)

ok, issue has been fixed for Viewer, but not for Face tag tool

it works (as expected) for OP's case as he uses navigation to reload image

However, in my understanding, loaded image should be automatically reloaded after Save/Save as to reflect changes

Batch convert needs to use the 'full size' if used for convert

but you have RAWFlag that should alter this behavior (like in FastStone)

check 'Camera RAW' settings in Settings>Formats>Read
by default, its:

• for Viewing
  - Embedded preview (JPEG)

• for Converting
  - Full size
  - some adjustments from 'Full/Half size rendering group'

However, there is an issue
Preview in Batch convert continue to use Full(or Half size) when 'Embedded preview' is selected for Convert in Settings
