Re: 2.34:Multiple shots per second are displayed out of sequence

SO HAPPY! I can confirm that the bug is fixed for the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000! And the timing is perfect because I just got home from 1200 photos taken this afternoon at the Montreal Formula E event, and decided to check for any XnView updates. So I installed it and viewed photos of the race cars at ...

Re: 2.34:Multiple shots per second are displayed out of sequ

Regarding the burst shots coming within the same second of "EXIF date", I did a bit more research to see what EXIF fields are available depending on what camera produced the EXIF information. I know the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 (such a great camera!) and Canon (PowerShot SX1) both use: Seque...

Re: Multiple shots per second are displayed out of sequence

could you send me some samples file, so i'm able to reproduce this problem? Ok I tried the latest xnview (v2.37) in Win10 in the hopes maybe this was fixed now. But unfortunately it is not. The photos are still shown out of sequence when sorted by EXIF date. So I have located a photo sequence which...

2.34:Multiple shots per second are displayed out of sequence

I use Xnview all the time, it's great. But for burst mode photos (multiple shots per second), it doesn't sort well. This means a fantastic sequence of photos is sometimes out of sequence and makes no sense. I downloaded the latest Xnview for windows 7, 2.34, and saw that this problem has not been re...

Lost an image, should not have happened

Been using Xnview for a long time, and recommending it to a lot of people. But the following situation should not have happened, and corrections are needed to prevent it. 1. Had image 1, renamed it fast to "greatimage1" and hit enter. 2. Had image 2, renamed it fast to "greatimage1&qu...

Re: Thumbnails not sorted at startup

1) Double click on a JPG in Windows Explorer (result: Xnview loads the JPG) It loads the file in view mode? Or fullscreen? 2) Hit enter (result: Xnview browser appears, and shows thumbnails, but they are NOT in ascending EXIF date. Yet a verification of that setting shows that it is indeed still th...

Thumbnails not sorted at startup

I use Xnview all the time, it's great, downloaded the latest Xnview for windows XP, v1.97, but saw that this old problem has not been resolved: Put in the setting in question: Load Xnview, View -> Sort by -> EXIF date, ascending (then close Xnview) Then reproduce the problem on a directory with seve...

New option to exclude files please

First, Xnview is so great. I tell everyone I know to use it. One feature I would like to see added is to allow certain filenames to be excluded from a search. In other words, Xnview -> Tools -> Search has several options, but not an "exclude" option (e.g. if I don't want to see IMG*.JPG, b...
