Re: File in use error
Sorry, never answered... the files were average 21 MP prctures, so about 10 MB. So, a few years later, newer Windows versions, a lot of XnViewMP versions later, I cannot reproduce this problem anymore. Took 50 picture copies on a network share from/to W10 PC's, pressing Del or Shift-Del on one or se...

Add Batch remane (cmd_batchRename) to Viewer mode
Hi Pierre, I have a request for adding Batch rename to Viewer mode. In Interface, tab Shortcuts, Browser mode, we can assign a shortcut to Batch convert and Batch rename. But in Viewer mode only a shortcut to Batch convert is possible. Could you add Batch remane (cmd_batchRename) to Viewer mode? I u...

Re: Draw tool: add grid functionality
Hi Pierre,
Is it possible to show the mouse coordinates in Draw?
Like in XnView Classic's Paint?
In a way that the coordinates are always visible when - for example - drawing a rectangle?
Regards,
Han

Re: Fullscreen: Navigation with left-right mouse button
Hi Pierre, Is it possible to add this option "Enable navigation with left and right mouse button" like in XnView Classic? Or is that to complicated? So, just in Full screen mode, Settings > View > Fullscreen. Not interfering with the general settings in Settings > Interface, on the tab Mouse. The re...

Re: File in use error
You mean in settings, General, File operations? Yes, "Use recycle bin" is enabled. Your question about the Recycle bin hinted me to do some more testing.... With Recycle bin enabled, the "File is open in XnView MP" message appears. With Recycle bin not checked, there is no message, just nothing happ...

Re: File in use error
Tried to reproduce this one again, with version 0.93.1. It may take some DEL's to get the In use message, but it can still be reproduced. With a network connection from a Windows 10 PC to a Windows 7 laptop, just mapped a drive letter to \\<ip address>\d$ (administrative share). Last year I tested w...

Re: 0.91 beta 4: Wrong focus after returning from fullscreen
I thought this issue was fixed, because I tested and couldn't get it wrong.
But the bug is only reproducable when going in Fullscreen directly from the Browser, not via the View tab first.

Re: Change file attribute on multiple file selection ?
A bit late testing... Tested with the same procedure in version 0.92, fixed. All three files with the read-only bit set with explorer can now be changed at once with XnViewMP. After selecting the three files, choose properties, unchecking read-only, the files are not read-only anymore. Also setting ...

Re: Thumbnail and Image Orientation out of sync after Jpeg Lossless Rotate to 180
As you say: Right... So that made met test with a fresh download on my test VM, so without my xnview.ini. And then I can't reproduce eighter. Then I remembered that I always have "Rebuild embedded EXIF thumbnail" unchecked in Format settings, Write tab, JPEG tab. Tested by unchecking that setting in...

Re: Thumbnail and Image Orientation out of sync after Jpeg Lossless Rotate to 180
Hi Pierre,
Stupid question: how do I send you a file?
By the way, to make shure that it is not a thumbnail cache problem, after saving the modified portrait file I closed XnViewMP and deleted Thumb.db and XnView.db, then started XnViewMP again (thumbnail was landscape, View mode still portrait.

Re: Selected Image Loses Focus
Tested with 0.91 beta 4, fixed. Reproduced with 0.90: Choosen layout with browser and preview. Selected a thumbnail. Used the arrow-right to move to the nex thumb, that worked. Moved the mouse to the preview. Zoomed in the preview. Used the arrow-right, the zoomed area in the preview moved, not the ...
