I've always installed the "Standard" version. The solution of removing libwebp.dll from the Plugins sub-directory of XnView installation works. Thanks again.

Hello, I've just upgraded to XnView 2.49.2. In Windows XP (yes, I have a very old notebook with Windows XP :P ), when I start XnView, I get this error:
The procedure entry point InitializecriticalSectionEx could not be located in the dynamic link libray KERNEL32.dll
XnView starts anyway.

Hi, I'm having the same issue, even with the latest version (Windows 7 64 bit): if, for example, I open images on the desktop and go back/forward, XnView opens the icons in the program shortcuts, or it opens videos even if I excluded them from the list of the files to open.
