Re: Is there a way to reduce the borders (thumbnail view)?
Many thanks.
Regretfully that is already set to the lowest value: 0
So, in my example above, the thumbnail on the left, that is already set to zero.
Example: if you have shot something 'developing' (1-2 shots each day) you may want to use the thumbnails to show a kind of 'collection', say maybe 6 ...

Is there a way to reduce the borders (thumbnail view)?
Is there a way to reduce the borders around the thumbnail view?
They take a lot of space.
-
Also is it possible to add a new label to be displayed below the thumbnail, like just the modified date.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Help me understand "Orientation"
File is nothing special, just a photo of a TV settings.
Thing is: it is displayed 90 degr CCW in Opus just before resizing but the results are usually correct.
It is said to have something to do with the original orientation, or something....
Photo is portrait, the original and resized are both ...

Help me understand "Orientation"
In Directory Opus I wanted to resize a photo. It showed up as 90 degr CCW.
Checked out the properties within XnViewMP
Exif says "Right-top (6)"
XnViewMP says "Top Left"
Maybe they are the same, I have no idea.
I mostly use Directory Opus to resize (because it is easy, it is just 1 click in the ...

Browser mode-two folder side-by-side, possible ?
XnViewMP browser
Left- folder tree
Right panel - subfolders
I'd like to compare those folders, but I want to view the files as thumbnail, so I know what they represent and what to delete.
So in fact I would then get three panels:
Tree - subfolder1 - subfolder 2
Is that possible?
Thanks!

Re: Tutorial How to use ExifTool in XnViewMP
Hello to you.
As I downloaded the latest version of ExifTool I just wanted to check the XnViewMP settings on ExifTool.
Frankly, I forgot how to install/apply ExifTool within XnViewMP, so I searched for it and came across the below tutorial.

Re: Allow "Save As" to save to current folder
Looked thru the changelog (https://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=47125)
Maybe it is listed there and I am overlooking it...
I was seeking for the same and checked out XnViewMP Settings and found something under "File Operations"

Maybe this helps?

Settings on OneDrive
I have XnViewMP on desktop and laptop - they are not running at the same time.
I would like to have -all- settings to be the same on desktop and laptop, so I think of storing all settings on OneDrive.
How to proceed?
Thanks.
