Re: How to have large images opened in "Fit image to window"-mode

Deeply sorry for the delay, some matters came in between and I had to sort out a few other things.
This matter more or less slipped my mind.
Anyway..

thank you very much!

This indeed solved the matter. How easy could it be.. :)
I overlooked that option.

Wonderful, that worked fine!

Many many thanks indeed.

As long as there is 'native' solution offered by Pierre, then I should keep this 'guideline' in mind in case of any future installs.

A bit of a workaround, but for me, it works.

Again, thanks a lot!

Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)

Ah, thanks, I've found that folder... Indeed, I only did a search for 'cmd_ftAll', but no hits, hence this question. BTW the mezich.ru site is blocked by my AV software. As the domain ends up with .ru , well, I simply don't go there. For me it isn't with taking any risk. If there is no official .ico...

How to have large images opened in "Fit image to window"-mode

How to have large images opened in "Fit image to window"-mode by default?
i.e. so I won't need to click on fit image to window separately.

Thanks

Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)

I've put cmd_fitAll.png and cmd_fitAll.ico into the UI\ and UI\icons-48\ sub-directories of MP v0.80, but the icon won't show up on the toolbar button for Fit image to window | cmd_FitAll . Set Icon... is grayed out. Where can I find them? Should they be downloaded ? Can't find them on my system. U...

Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)

Yes...
I know this is an old thread... :-)

I have waited for a few updates.
Regretfully though I still don't know how to solve this - IF...IF at all it can be solved:

- adding an icon to 'Fit image to Window'.

thanks!

Re: Search my threads only

Hi, mrwul (-: Unfortunately phpBB's built-in search isn't capable of that. Google: site:newsgroup.xnview.com mrwul allow instance → Opening Multiple Image Attachments in MS Outlook Thanks! Probably I only read it, in some thread or so, i.e. not one that I have been participating in. Anyway I untagg...

Search my threads only

Is there a way to search my -own- threads only, i.e. in the same way as the default search? I can search on my forum username OR I can search on a specific string but not limited to my username. Reason is that I discovered that once XnViewMP is already running, I could open an email-attachment until...

Re: How to add text, arrows, etc.

MANY thanks indeed! Frankly, I wouldn't have found this myself, expecting this kind of stuff to be in the settings or menu or wherever, but not directly under the context menu. Would be something like this then, under Alt-1 = Capture-08052017 161928.png = One day the built in editor may have similar...

Bug reporting blocked by Malwarebytes Anti Malware

I didn't post this in the bug reporting area, as I believe it is not entirely a XnViewMP matter
rather XnView-Internet-MBAM

Anyway bug reporting was blocked.

Re: How to add text, arrows, etc.

btw it is possible to assign an external editor change in registry HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image\shell\edit\command then modify and change: "%systemroot%\system32\mspaint.exe" "%1" into, let's say : "D:\Snagit 11\SnagitEditor.exe" "%1" SnagItE...

Re: How to add text, arrows, etc.

Thanks again. I found that tool/option. I am not sure, but I think one can not see the results beforehand , i.e. one has to do canvas resize, click 'OK' and then only see the results. In SnagItEditor one simply drags the border to the required size. Think it is not possible to add another external e...

Re: How to add text, arrows, etc.

Ah, thanks...! I wasn't aware of it. Very nice indeed. Hopefully this will be developed further: - when resizing use the same button (+) (-) as with the viewer - i.e. smaller steps (steps are too big now) - allow to add space (drag borders) so text can be added there, i.e. outside the image (see my ...

How to add text, arrows, etc.

When in viewer mode, I'd like to add text to images.
Right now I need to use another tool for it.

Is there an easy way to do this from XnViewMP when in viewer mode?

Thanks!

Re: Excellent - move to folder

To be honest, I tried this Match pull down endlessly and didn't it right (surely I was doing something wrong) and ended up moving many hundreds of images into the wrong folder. Tried using 'current folder' etc. Got a bit frustrated because I could get it work the way I wanted (or better expected). M...
