Re: Original photo labeled, needs returned

Thanks for the tip. I did try your hints and after a while I was able to get a photo on screen and it had a tool bar above it that allowed Cropping. It did not seem to be something direct in you comment; but, something that happened as I played around. I will need to take more time and see if I can ...

Re: Original photo labeled, needs returned

Was that a question or comment? If a comment, I can not find any "Image/Crop" items as Iook through the menus. If a question I will try to answer if you wish.

Re: Original photo labeled, needs returned

I don't know this program well enough to take chance at losing the photo's. So I used Paint Shop Pro to set up boundaries and crop to the limits, thus eliminating the text block at the bottom of the photo. It was quick, only took a couple movements and a couple clicks to perform the job. I then had ...

Re: Original photo labeled, needs returned

What I mean with Labels is to put a line of text along the bottom. I would like to keep the original photo's separate from the ones I have labeled.

You comments give me a hint of where to look. It there is something in the enclosed meta data that I can change or erase that will make things easier ...

Original photo labeled, needs returned

I made a mistake in the batch processing panel and my original photo's got labeled. I would like to convert back to the original form for the originals so I can modify or change the labels at will but not change the originals.

So the question is this. How might I do this thing of eliminating the ...

A preview window when working with photo's

I find that I have done a lot of trials and deletes. I think a small preview window would help when trying effects or adding labels to a photo. Have the window show effects of using a parameter change but no real transformation yet. This would permit a trial and error approach to making changes. Don ...

Re: Labels for a beginner

XnTriq, your advice actually helped. For a long time I was thinking you had not given me the good news. So I just started to trying different things. Try and delete. Try something else and delete. Change more numbers and delete. Then finally i noticed something good happening. I ended up changing ...

Re: Labels for a beginner

XnTriq, Thanks for this help. I will start with what you have given me and see if I can carry on to a finished product. Maybe, maybe not.

It appears that -- Tools>Batch Processing or Tools>Sequence Conversions will take you to the same next screen called Batch Processing. So what is the difference ...

Labels for a beginner

I have found myself somewhat confused, maybe because of terminology and lack of one step at a time training or help.

I first heard of this product in a labeling article http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/labelling.html and also http://www.rideau-info.com/genealogy/digital/captioning.html within the ...
