New bugs?
No, I didn't talk about new bugs but version 0.83 bugs which have been resolved in version 0.85, and stay resolved even when taking file QtAV.dll from old version and replacing new version's QtAV1.dll.

Re: 0.85: Stuttering mp4 video playback
Hey arspr, maybe old QtAV.dll was a remainder of previous version 0.83 installation. I usually copy version 0.nn installation directory XnViewMP to directory XnViewMP.0.nn before upgrading inplace to a newer version not uninstalling previous version before. So I am able to compare different versions...

Re: 0.85: File browser not responding for minutes
Seems, I found the culprit. Watching XnViewMP executable in Sysinternals Process Monitor, I noticed that executable had been reading registry entries dealing with Microsoft's OneDrive just before not responding anymore. To get rid of OneDrive's annoying popup dialog window asking to register my emai...

Re: 0.85: File browser not responding for minutes
Seems to be a problem with Windows' special folders, Desktop, My Documents, My Pictures, etc. When closing and reopening program while having opened a regular folder before, program is responding immediately after startup. When closing and reopening program while having opened a special folder befor...

0.85: Stuttering mp4 video playback
XnView: MP 0.85 - 64-bit OS: Windows 10 - 64-bit Effect: Video playback of mp4 video files (H.264/MPEG-4 AVC) stuttering While mp4 video files were playing smoothly with version 0.83, stuttering playback started since version 0.84. I silently hoped version 0.85 would resolve that issue, but it still...

0.82: mp4 playback problems
After installing version 0.82, I encounter problems playing some mp4 video files. While I can hear sound, preview and/or main window stays black. Moving progress slider manually a little bit to the right makes the video play normally until the end. But pressing the play/pause button instead makes ex...

XnViewMP: Wrong aspect ratio of portrait orientation videos
Having a bunch of MOV videos some of which not getting played with XnView's 2.31 built-in player and not knowing why, I decided to give XnViewMP 0.72 a try. Fortunately all MOV videos making problems with XnView's built-in player do play with XnViewMP's built-in player. :) But unfortunately some of ...

Hugin created TIF file crashes XnView
Hi, I recently installed latest (unstable) Xnview 1.98 Beta 2 for testing purposes. When trying to open a TIF file created by Hugin Panorama Stitcher 2010.4.0, Xnview crashes at offset 0x002bda64. Same problem with Xnview 1.98 Beta 1, no problem with XnView 1.97.8. Even opening a folder containing s...

Re: 1.97.6: EXIF Image - User Comment display issue
Perfect. Almost. Thank you. UNICODE EXIF user comments now show correctly. But unfortunately EXIF user comments with 8 byte character code 0x4153434949000000 = "ASCII" showing correctly with version 1.97.6 no longer do with version 1.97.7. Pictures without EXIF user comments or with ASCII EXIF user ...

1.97.6: EXIF Image - User Comment display issue
I encounter probably same problem in version 1.97.6 as already discussed in topic "1.92: EXIF Image - User Comment display issue": XnView 1.97 is only displaying the first character of EXIF-Image-User Comment when enabling <User Comment> information getting displayed by pressing keyboard key "i" e.g...
