Rebuild Thumbnails not helping. Folder thumbnail not updating unless Thumb.db removed and XnView restarted. That issue was noticed years ago

Where do I find folder thumbnails cache to delete?
Deleting Thumb.db not helping - still see non-existing thumbnails in folder thumbnails

deleted cache and disabled cache in settings - still see deleted thumbnails
will XNViewMP reinstall help?

each time when I open the image from File Explorer it appears in new tab

i use windows 8.1 and run MP as administrator

weird, not working for me. only scroll wheel for next/previous image when starting MP from file
will try clean install

PS nope. i may use keys only if MP started from shortcut. if MP started from file (i use total commander) only mouse wheel works

same problem with XMP on a W 8.1 laptop : launching MP directly lead to a crash.
Happily launching Xnview by double clic on a file - with the W 8.1 explorer- => always no crash !

yes. it happens from time to time on program start
on windows from 7 to 8.1update

program restart not help. need to drag it to make floating and than drag agan to pin it back

by the way why is folder thumbnails is smaller than images ones?
