When I try to export photo locations to KML file by clicking "Open GPS location in Google Earth App", the altitude values of all points are fixed to 300m, instead of the actual altitude values in EXIF.

I forgot to mention that the problem happened on Linux. I just clean installed v1.40 and still can comfirm this problem.
Windows version seems to be good.

to reproduce:
1. open the first instance of xnviewmp
2. open a new folder and xnviewmp starts generating thumbnails of the folder
3. before it finishing generating thumbnails, open the second instance of xnviewmp
4. you will find XnView.db corrupts and catalog directory in settings emptied, you have ...

I usually want to keep the original aspect ratio when cropping images, but XnviewMP doesn't do it well when I have both horizontal and vertical images.

To reproduce:
1. open a horizonal image 1.jpg, followed by a vertical image 2.jpg
2. click the crop button, set a aspect ratio, for example ...

I have some photos taken in basins below sea level, but the altitude values shown in XnviewMP are always positive. And it's not possible to write a negative altitude to photo by editing GPS data in XnviewMP.

No. Everytime after I delete a file in browser, I have to select and deselect preview as tab to get the GPS tab back.

I can't see the GPS tab until I do the Info pane>Preview trick again.

Ok, I can get back the GPS tab this way. But when I selected a geo-tagged picture and deleted it, the GPS tab disappered again.

In 0.98.3 I can no longer see the GPS tab with google maps. Is it removed or just a bug?

Yes, but only on Ubuntu 21.04. I didn't notice this issue when using 0.98.2 on 20.10.

When clicking an item in settings, the words disappear and replaced by a box. I'm using ubuntu 21.04. Windows version is not affected.
