Re: The "xnconvert.ini" file
1.) If the 'ZIP' downloads of XnConvert could ship with the .ini file already in the folder (portable ready)
What I don't like about that is you have to be careful not to overwrite your ini file when updating. There's two solutions for this:
1. Store the settings in a sub-folder. The zip archive ...

Re: [Req] Support for archives
I saw you added output support for ZIP. The feature works but it needs a way of creating multiple ZIP archives, such as split by folder.
Since you haven't added input support for archives yet, I'll put in a suggestion to treat archives as folders. This is essentially how foobar2000 does it, except ...

[Req] Support for archives
Comics often come in archives with various extensions, cbz, cbr, etc. These are just ZIP / RAR / 7Z archives with a different file extension. See here - https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Comic_Book_Archive_file

[Bug] Resize settings not saved correctly
Starting with XnConvert 1.02, it no longer saves resize settings in scripts correctly. 1.02 added a new "fill" option which I suspect might have broken this.
For example, if I save a script which resizes by "longest side", the next time I load that script, it uses "fill" instead.

Re: Description on website
This is my own description. I think the word "dozens" accurately describes the number of options available.
XnConvert is a batch image converter and resizer that is powerful yet easy to use. All common picture and graphics formats are supported as well as over 400 other formats. Dozens of options ...

Re: XnC v.0.99(L) Dnd no longer possible
Tested on Windows 7. Drag and drop for files works again.
I'm not sure if this was ever supported, but dragging in folders doesn't work.

I noticed that drag and drop wasn't working too, but on Windows 7.
Sorry, I'm a bit confused by your response. Are you confirming the bug, or did you intentionally disable it?xnview wrote:yes right
