I'm running WinXP with two screens. If the second screen is located on
the left side of the main screen, it will become negative X coordinates.

In this case the checkboxes at the dialogs " Options->General->Read/Write->General " and
" Options->System integration->Associations->Associations " are ...

Still not ok with RC1 ...

Is there a special reason why the entries in the third column "Size" are left aligned?
IMHO it would look better if the size entries are right aligned.

My attitude about the color for the rating symbols is, if I ask somebody, which color do you associate with the words 'bad' and 'good',
I think I will get the answer 'red' and 'green'.

So the rating should also go from red to green. Between there is the mixture of red and green which is yellow ...

I reduced the size by 3 pixel.
Now it has the same size as the EXIF or IPTC symbol.

I think the numbers for rating should go from 1...5 like user 'marsh' said. I also like the example from user 'Trocken' with the 1 to 5 stars symbols. This gives you information without confusion. Also the color is a good indication which should go from red (bad) to green (good).

I want to vote for square symbols like in the following picture.
